I put this outfit together for Inspiration Monday at Two Birds. If I had known what the inspiration photo was I would have saved Thursday's Outfit for today, but oh well. I actually am really happy with how this look turned out as well. I decided to wear a simple little black dress I picked up for four or five dollars last year at Old Navy. I already knew I had to wear my brown booties, so I decided to go for all brown accessories (the faux-leather jacket is a chocolate brown, though it's really dark so it's hard to tell in photos). I've always loved black but I love brown more and more recently so this is another outfit you'll probably see again sometime. The combination of brown and black just feels like it works somehow....Oh, and sorry this is such a picture-heavy post, but I haven't had time to tons of pictures lately, so I guess I'm making up for it today.
Also, if you leave a comment or become a follower, I'll always do the same for you. If I haven't gotten back to you from last week yet, it's just because it was a hectic week. I'll be playing catch up this week and promise to get back to you soon!
Finally, it's not too late to submit a look or your finds to last week's Thursdays are for Thrifters.
Black Dress: Old Navy, apx. $5., Brown Faux-Leather Jacket: Wet Seal, $20., Sunglasses: F21, $5 (Sorry, forgot to take a photo of these...I'm sure I'll wear them again soon and get one then.)
Fantástico estilo, adoro los accesorios!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the combination of black and brown too. The simple black dress from Old Navy is fantastic. I love how you spiced up your overall look with great accessories that from a distance seem to portray a rougher edge. But upon closer inspection actually have soft feminine detailing, very brilliant.
