outfit du jour: come and find me

This is really a less than exciting outfit, but it's what I wore yesterday. I thrifted this New York & Company blouse last week and it's much cuter in person. Don't you hate how sometimes pictures just can't do a particular piece of clothing justice? Anyway, I liked the pattern and how flowy it was but it's sleeveless and I don't do sleeveless (I hardly ever even wear short sleeves) so I threw a denim shirt over it (that always seems to be the answer) and it seemed to work.

    Cute look! I've got a couple shirts that I feel the same way about they look SO cute in the mirror, but then in photos it's becomes a very 'blah' shape.
    I think this photographed pretty well though.

    the top looks cute! but i totally feel you on the certain pieces NOT looking as good in pictures as they do in person. i especially find that baggy pieces don't turn out well in pictures (as well as tank tops because my arms start to look fat at certain angles). but then again, sometimes things look better in pictures than they do in person :)

    I really like how you layered the denim shirt over the blouse--it makes it look a little funkier, which I like :) I totally know what you mean about pictures not doing things justice sometimes--I hate when I feel like I have an awesome outfit then the pictures just turn out mediocre! But I love the way that top looks, so I think they turned out fine!

    Fantastic outfit!! And I totally understand about a picture sometime not doing an outfit justice. It is funny how some garments photograph better then others. But I still think your shirt looks fabulous. The photo has such a vintage vibe -so cool.
