outfit du jour: in between days

I can't decide if I love shorts or hate them. I haven't been the kind of girl who wears shorts in public since I was about 12 but I've tried them out a few times lately on the blog. These vintage Levi's are pretty short so I'm not sure about them at all. I thrifted them with the intention of distressing them some more somehow. Glitter? Paint splatter? What do you think?

    Great song and great shorts. I'd leave them alone or maybe fray the edges, but I am pretty conservative that way.

    Thrifted high-waisted shorts are the best. They look great on you as is, but if you'd like a more distressed look you can take a cheese grater and rub it on the jeans. It works great! xoxo

    bleach! sand paper! scissors! Thats what I'd do. I used to say shorts are the devil, but that was just my self conscious self talking. Eff it, I wear them. Im going to dip some bad boys in bleach today.

    I feel the same way about shorts! I slowly started to get into them last summer and I got a few more this year too. My biggest trouble with them is how to make them looked grown-up and polished.
